1. What kinds of situations can couples therapy help with?

 

Couples therapy can help with communication barriers, repeated conflict, trust issues, or simply increasing understanding between you. You don’t have to wait until your relationship is “in crisis” or be perfectly in sync to start.

 

 

2. Do both partners have to attend?

 

Ideally, both come together, but it’s okay if one person wants to start on their own. Sometimes, one partner’s initiative can be the first step toward healing the relationship.

 

 

3. Will we be blamed or judged during couples therapy?

 

No. Therapy is a safe and respectful space for both partners—not a place for scoring or blame. I’ll help you both understand each other’s experiences and emotions, not focus on who’s right or wrong.

 

 

4. How is couples therapy different from individual therapy?
