I'm Kat -- a counsellor and a steady companion in your healing process.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based practice, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, Play Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches. Rather than applying techniques to you, I weave these approaches gently -- shaping a space that fits you: your pace, your story, your way of making meaning

 

Across cultures, languages, and life stages, I’ve walked with people through anxiety, stress, relationship tensions, and emotional pain they had no words for elsewhere.

I hold a simple belief: 

Healing rarely arrives in dramatic breakthroughs. It begins softly — through small shifts, moments of clarity, and the way you breathe changes when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself.

Rebuilding confidence after racial discrimination and emotional trauma 

 

I grew up in a loving, supportive community. Life was joyful and full. But after moving to Australia, I experienced harsh discrimination because of my skin colour. It shattered me. I became deeply self-conscious. I avoided eye contact. I couldn’t walk into shopping malls. Shame followed me everywhere.

Kat met me in that space. With warmth, acceptance, and encouragement, she walked with me through 20 sessions that helped me rebuild my sense of self, piece by piece.
She didn’t just listen — she helped me gently dismantle the trauma and reconnect with the parts of me I thought I had lost.

Today, I’m no longer afraid. I walk into stores with confidence. I meet eyes, smile, even greet strangers. I’ve come back to life — and come back to myself.

We want every visitor to receive dedicated support, so all sessions are by appointment. You can easily contact us through our website booking formwhatsApp,  phone, or email. We’ll thoughtfully help you arrange the the time and format of counselling that suits you best.

​Q: Is everything I share kept confidential?

 

Your trust means everything to us. All conversations are strictly confidential, allowing you to express yourself freely in a safe, respectful, and ethically grounded counselling space.

Q: Can I choose between online and in-person sessions?

 

We understand that everyone’s needs are different, so we offer both online and in-person counselling in Sydney. You’re welcome to choose whichever feels most comfort. We’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

Q: Do I need to have a serious problem to seek counselling?

Not at all. Whether you’re navigating minor challenges, emotional ups and downs, stress, anxiety, or simply want to better understand yourself better, we’re here to support you. Counselling is for anyone seeking growth or a safe place to reflect.

Q: How should I prepare for my first session?

Just bring an open mind. If there are specific topics you’d like to explore - about your emotions, relationships, or daily stresses - feel free to note them down beforehand. This is your safe space—you’re free to be yourself.
